About Me

Welcome! I'm Lisa, an educator with a passion for helping children and adults develop their full potential. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of teaching every age group from 4K through adult, working in both traditional K-12 education systems and corporate environments. 

My journey in education has been driven by a simple mission: Provide engaging learning opportunities that don't feel like learning. My classroom was full of creativity and critical thinking challenges that deepened learning while providing the opportunity for students of all ages to develop important life skills in the areas of critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration.

My personal life is focused on simplicity, which is why I create simple, engaging, skill-building games for you to purchase and use the same day. I love theme-based activities and each game has a theme to match a holiday, occasion or topic. 

In our achievement-oriented culture, it's easy to become so focused on future outcomes that we miss the joy of the present moment. I believe deeply in the importance of enjoying the now, and the people we are with at the moment.

This philosophy influences everything I create. Yes, my games build important skills, but they're also designed to be genuinely fun. Enjoy the pleasure of the activity and the connections formed. 

I believe that by returning to simpler approaches—less screen time, more creative problem-solving, and genuine human connection—we can help children develop the skills and confidence they need to navigate an increasingly complex world.

I hope the resources I provide will help you create moments of connection, learning, and fun with the children in your life. Together, we can nurture the next generation of confident, capable, creative thinkers.

On a personal level, my favorite place to be is outside - walking, hiking, biking, kayaking, camping and at the beach (is beaching a word? lol!) The sky is always amazing at any time of year or in any place is always a calming presence. I am a creative-minded person who can't stop thinking unless I am reading a book, but not one I would take notes on. Agatha Christie gets me every time. Our family includes myself, my husband, our grown daughter and son, and at the moment, two grand dogs. We are happy, blessed and loving our life.
